Color consultation in San Diego. Right the first time.
Picking paint color on a screen or under a store's fluorescent lights is how people end up with a beige that looks pink at sunset. We come to your home with large-format samples from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, look at the colors in your actual light across the day, and narrow to two or three finalists you can live with. One hour on-site, written recommendation, no sales pressure.

What do homeowners ask about Color Consultation?
Is the consultation fee refunded if I hire you to paint?
Yes. The $195 consultation credits 100% toward the painting invoice if you book within 60 days of the consult. If you don't, the fee stands — we spent the time and gave you the recommendations.
Do I need to have a color in mind first?
No. Half our consults start from zero. We walk the house, ask about how you live in each room, and work from there. Having a Pinterest board or inspo photos helps speed things up but isn't required.
Are you attached to a paint brand?
No — we have strong preferences between Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore for different applications (cabinets = Benjamin Moore Advance, exteriors = Sherwin Emerald, etc.) but we don't steer you to anything you don't need. If Behr is what's in your budget, we work with Behr.
Can you do exterior color palettes?
Yes. Exteriors are harder because the palette has to coordinate with things you can't change — roof, stone, brick, neighboring homes. We bring a bigger sample library for exteriors and recommend testing the finalists on the actual wall for 24 hours before committing.
What if I disagree with your recommendation?
Then we pick again. The goal is a color you love, not one we're proud of. Most consults end with a clear 2–3 option shortlist, and you pick from there with confidence.

Homeowners who hired us for this
Whole interior of a 3-bedroom in four days. Crew arrived at 8, worked clean, moved furniture themselves, and the cut lines around our textured ceiling are the sharpest I've ever seen on a paint job. Color turned out exactly like the sample.
Got three quotes. Paint Pros was the only one who walked me through the stucco prep in detail — which cracks needed elastomeric, which didn't. They spec'd a premium paint, not the cheapest. Nine months in, zero issues. Fair price for the work that went in.
Transformed our 90s oak kitchen. Doors off-site in a spray booth, sharp lines, handles upgraded. A week from drop-off to reinstall. Our kitchen looks like a $40,000 remodel but it cost us $5,400. Best ROI of anything we've done to this house.
